1. » KNL AAA (alkaline, antibacterial and antioxidant) pH cartridge inbuilt in food grade/ABS (nontoxic) plastic. The cartridge is used to enhance pH of drinking water. The candle/cartridge adds pH up to 3.0 and some essential minerals (calcium, magnesium and potassium) in drinking water up to 80 ppm. The main objective is to get balanced pH in drinking water but not to add minerals. Strongly recommended to use the pH cartridge with regulator to achieve balanced pH else resultant water will be high alkaline.

2. » The pH cartridge contains ceramic balls (natural stones) those are enriched in magnesium, calcium, potassium and coconut shell charcoal granules. Because of the high alkaline nature of these stones, water that flows through the cartridge increases pH and provides certain necessary minerals. 3. » The Alkaline cartridge must be used with regulator in RO or NF water purifier to get the balanced pH (alkaline) in drinking water. Please note, the KNL-AAA cartridge adds minerals up to 80 ppm and pH up to 3.0 in full capacity. By using regulator you can get balanced pH in drinking water. The main objective is to get balanced pH not minerals.

4. » The pH is normally found in the range of pH 7.0 to pH 8.2, with the exception of rainwater. However, after passing through an NF or RO membrane, the pH decreases based on the membrane’s TDS rejection rate. The RO membrane lowers pH from 1.5 to 2.0, NF80 lowers pH from 1.0 to 1.5, NF60 lowers pH from 0.6 to 1.0, NF40 lowers pH from 0.5 to 0.8, and NF20 lowers pH from 0.3 to pH 0.5 max from raw water.

5. » User/Buyers are requested to first check his/her/their water purifier cabinet space before placing order. The KNL AAA filter need additional space after sediment, carbon, membrane, post carbon if used and then KNL-AAA filter. Most of the cabinet does not have sufficient space. Therefore the buyers are requested to check the space in his/her water purifier cabinet. Essential Guidelines. » The pH cartridge must be washed for at least 10-15 litres of membrane treated water before use. After washing the filter check the pH of the drinking water. To check the pH measure, take a transparent glass or cup, take 10-15 ml water, pour 4-5 drops of pH reagent drops in the water, stir water and check the colour. The colour should be green or light blue.

Warranty details: The pH cartridge is consumable and therefore does not cover any warranty or guarantee except in case of manufacturing defects. Once put to use in water will not be taken back or refunded.
