1. » KNLSS UV Barrel/Chamber 304 grade with fitted quartz glass and two stem elbows included.

2. » The Steel density is 8000 kg per cubic meter whereas aluminium density is 2700 kg per cubic meter. It means steel density is 2.96 times more than aluminium and therefore the steel maintains more darkness inside the UV barrel and therefore the UV rays works more effectively. UV rays works better in darker medium.

3. » Aluminium is reactive with water and leaches aluminium oxide that may cause health issues as it is not considered safe for health in long run. Normally the RO water becomes acidic and acidic water leaches more aluminium oxide if used in aluminium barrel. But steel is totally safe in all respect.

4. » UV rays can’t pass through plain glass but passes through the quartz glass only. The UV barrel contains quartz glass and made into heavy steel that ensures more safety of your drinking water.

5. » The UV rays disinfect the germs but cannot treat the impurities like bromide, fluoride, mercury, lead, arsenic etc. if these are present in your raw water. Therefore always use right NF membrane or RO membrane as per your tap water TDS that ensures more safe & healthy drinking water. 

6. » The UV lamp emits radiation at 150 NM wavelength and UV LED emits radiation at 350 NM wavelength. Therefore UV led is considered more effective compared to UV C lamp and service life is also better compared to UV C lamp.

7. » The SS UV is optional part where NF or RO membrane is used but becomes compulsory in case of TDS controller/ adjuster if used in water purifier or in case of UV UF Model. 

Warranty details: The KNL SS 304 UV Chamber/barrel having one year of warranty for leakage only or in case of manufacturing defects if found. Warranty is not there in case of breakage/damage of inside fitted quartz glass or of elbow points due to careless handling. In case of manufacturing defects or leakage if any found on delivery, the same need to be returned to us with courier. One side courier charges need to born by the buyer.
