In case of low pressure or high pressure, the result may vary, in case of high pressure, suggested to use PRV else membrane will get damage early.

2. » Rejection rate around 75%, flux rate around 24 ltr/hr, must be used along with good quality inline filters. The membrane naturally maintains healthy minerals (TDS) in drinking water around 25% and reduces TDS around 75% with variation of ± 5% only from feed/raw water. With more TDS water taste will be little hard compare to RO water or demineralised water. Please note 150 ppm to 300 ppm range is known as mineral water. Demineralised water user may feel little hard water taste due to more minerals in drinking water.

3. » The membrane must be used where the tap water TDS is less than 900 ppm else the result may not be satisfactory and the water taste will be too much hard. Service life is around 17000 litres or 18 months, subject to use with good quality of inline filters (especially sediment and pre- carbon filter). The membrane reduces negligible pH from raw water and does not make water acidic unlike RO membrane.

4. » The NF70 pore size is 0.0004 microns, Contaminants molecule size remain greater than 0.01 microns, germs size from 0.027 microns to 5 microns, water molecule size is 0.000283 microns, dissolve compositions of mineral molecule size remain less than 0.0009 microns and breaks further in smaller size. The NF60 membrane eliminates all the impurities like mercury, arsenic, bromide, fluoride, lead etc. including germs and flushes them through rejected water.

Warranty details: The membrane does not cover any warranty. The performance of the membrane depends on user skill with proper installation, feed water quality, and pump with required working pressure. Once put to use cannot be taken back except in case of manufacturing defect. If a buyer notices any manufacturing flaws within seven days of delivery, they must return the item to the vendor using his courier service. Once the product is received, it will be inspected, and if any flaws are discovered, the replacement of the product will be sent though courier.

Installation guideliens: Before using membrane, make sure the previous SV, pump etc. are functioning properly. Before inserting new membrane, the membrane housing must be cleaned properly & make sure membrane housing o ring point is 100% circular. Withou using FR, discard 2-3 liters water first and then use new FR delivered to you in the packet as shown flow direction. FR if used in reverse direction will led to damage of the membrane. Let the machine run for 20-30 minutes and then check the result with good quality TDS memter. The result will be as per descriptions.

Ideal drinking water: TDS is not impurities but composition of minerals (like calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, zinc, copper, potassium etc.). As per WHO or other prominent institutions, ideal drinking water should have TDS between 100 ppm to 300 ppm, less than 100 ppm is considered poor, less than 50 ppm not permissible in long run but causes lots of health issues, the range 150 ppm to 300 ppm known as mineral water if the water is free from impurities. Water taste mainly depends on TDS, with more TDS water taste hardness increases. The user who consume RO water or demineralized water may feel hard water taste compared to RO water/demineralized water or normal bottle packed water. The water taste develops in couple of weeks’ time.

Advantage/Benefits of using NF membrane (based on TDS of your tap water), retain essential mineral in drinking water without using TDS controller, water recovery upt to 55% (depends on nf variant). But TDS controller permits the return of impurities to your drinking water.
